Parks Canada Agency requires one intermediate-class helicopter to support wildland fire management operations, including water delivery, personnel and equipment transport, specialized tasks such as vertical reference work, ignition operations, and acting as a Helicopter Coordinator, as well as Class D Heli-Sling rescues in mountainous terrain; the aircraft may also be used for broader park management activities such as resource and wildlife management, visitor safety, law enforcement, and asset management as needed. The term of the Contract will be for the period of three (3) years commencing from April 01, 2026 to March 31, 2029.
