The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) has a requirement to purchase and delivery of eight (8) Mercury outboard motors and related accessories to be delivered at Titan boats, Sidney BC- C/O RCMP Pacific Ship Rider Program by March 31, 2026 as described in Annex- Statement of Requirement. This requirement is directly linked to Marine Border Enforcement Tea (MBET’s) existing fleet sustainment and repower strategy for Titan RHIB patrol vessels already configured around Mercury outboards, Mercury digital throttle and shift, SmartCraft instrumentation, and associated rigging architecture. MBET has already invested in a common Mercury propulsion ecosystem across these vessels in order to preserve interoperability, simplify maintenance, reduce parts proliferation, and maintain operator familiarity across the fleet. Mercury Marine, as manufacturer is the sole source, retains exclusive ownership of the proprietary intellectual property associated with the Verado V10 platform, including the engine design, control logic, embedded software and firmware, SmartCraft digital integration architecture, diagnostic systems, and associated steering and control technologies. Authorized distributors and dealers may sell, rig, and service the product, but they do so under Mercury’s proprietary platform and licensing structure. Mandatory delivery date for purchase and delivery of eight (8) Mercury outboard motors and related accessories is on or before March 31, 2026.
