EQ754-261860 London Research and Development Center Main Power Switchboard Replacement Project

Public Service and Procurement Canada (PSPC) requires a contractor to perform work at London Research and Development Centre located at 1391 Sandford Street in London, Ontario. Work of this Contract comprises electrical distribution system upgrades. The work includes removal and replacement of the existing customer owned main pad-mounted transformer for the London Hydro utility service connection with a new utility owned transformer, including modifications to the primary and secondary underground feeders to suit the newly proposed transformer location. Additionally, the existing main breaker within the existing switchboard and three existing power distribution panels will be removed and replaced with new in the main electrical room. Temporary power is to be provided to maintain power to critical loads during required outages for equipment replacement. Within the Request for Proposal, the Crown sets out the project requirements, i.e., the particulars of the project itself and the broad scope of work required from the contractor.
