2.      PURPOSE OF THIS NOTICE
BDC, as per Chapter Five of the Canadian Free-Trade Agreement (“CFTA”) and Chapter 19 of the Canada-European Union (“EU”) Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (“CETA”), initially solicited qualified firms public tender RFPQ - Request for Pre-Qualification - IT Staff Augmentation Services (Merx Ref. 0000283927) to cover the requirements herein.  The selection and awarding of the contract to this supplier was made following a competitive following prequalification selection process, with prequalified suppliers. BDC has awarded two contracts for contingent workers CNTR0028468 & CNTR0028467, namely senior Scrum Masters.
