D2.          SCOPE OF WORK

D2.1        The Work to be done under the Contract shall consist of the trenchless construction of 
new land drainage sewers and appurtenances in accordance with the applicable Specifications and 
Drawings.

D2.2        The major components of the Work are as follows:
(a)   Construction of approximately 939 m of land drainage sewers ranging in size from 300 mm to 
900 mm by trenchless methods.
(b)   Connection of the new land drainage sewers to the existing 900 mm land drainage sewer near 
Semple Avenue and Salter Street.
(c)    Abandonment of existing catch basin connections to combined sewers.
(d)   Replacement of existing catch basins and connections to the new land drainage sewers.
(e)   Surface restorations and related works.
