Jacket, Patrol, Unisex


The RCMP has a requirement for 750 Patrol Jackets. There is an option quantity of up to 600 Patrol Jackets that can be exercised up to 24 months from contract award. The Contracting Authority may exercise the option quantity within 24 months after contract award date by sending a written notice to the Contractor.

In addition, there is an “as and when” requested requirement for Specials (which are made-to-measure garments) for Patrol Jackets of up to 75 and can be ordered within 24 months of contract award. 

The requirement is to be supplied in accordance with RCMP specification G.S. 1045-298 dated 2012-05-30, viewing sample and patterns. This can be found attached to the RFP.

The RCMP viewing sample will only be available to bidders requested to submit a Pre-Award Sample.

The first firm quantity (50) is requested to be delivered to Ottawa, Ontario 45 calendar days following the approval of the pre-production sample. With the balance to be delivered at a rate of 175 Patrol Jackets every two weeks after the first delivery until completion of the contract.
This requirement is subject to AIT, but exempt from all other trade agreements, FSC 84.
This requirement is conditionally limited to Canadian Goods.

The successful bidder will be determined based on the lowest priced, technically compliant proposal. 

Government available material must be purchased for this requirement at the cost stated in the RFP document.

The Crown reserves the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
