TROUSERS, BLUE, OFFICER'S (Male & Female)

Notice of Proposed Procurement

Item Required: Trousers, Blue, Officer’s (Male & Female) 

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) has a requirement for a firm quantity of 740 Trousers, Blue, Officer’s (Male)  and 70 Trousers, Blue, Officer’s (Female)..   

The firm quantity is to be delivered to Ottawa, Ontario and is requested to be delivered 45 days following the approval of the pre-production samples.

In addition, there is “as and when requested” quantity of up to 15 Male and 15 Female specials Trousers, Blue, Officer’s which are (made-to-measure). Specials can be ordered within 24 months of contract award

In addition, there is an optional quantity of 400 Trousers, Blue, Officer’s regular sized Male and Female  which can be exercised within 24 months following contract award.

This requirement is to be supplied in accordance with RCMP Specification G.S. 1045-264 dated 2012-11-02 and viewing sample.  Specification documents can be found attached to the RFP.

The RCMP Viewing Sample will only be available to bidders requested to submit a pre-award sample.

This requirement is subject to AIT but is exempt from NAFTA and WTO-AGP, FSC-84.

This requirement is conditionally limited to Canadian Goods. 

The successful bidder will be determined based upon the lowest priced, technically compliant proposal.

There is Government Available Material (GAM) for this requirement. 

The Crown reserves the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement. 

Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
