INVITATION TO TENDER Sealed Tenders, addressed to: Fisheries and Oceans, Canada TENDER SUBMISSION c/o Natural Resources Canada 1350 Regent Street Fredericton NB E3C 2G6 or Electronic Tenders addressed to: DFOtenders-soumissionsMPO@dfo-mpo.gc.ca and marked: Tender F5211-130240 SO for Plumbing Services, St. John’s, NL will be received up to: WEDNESDAY, 20 NOVEMBER 2013 2:00 p.m. Atlantic time Nature of Work: Fisheries & Oceans Canada has locations in St. John’s NL that require maintenance, minor repairs and/or installations of plumbing services on an as and when required basis. This tender call is to set up a Standing Offer Agreement for these services for an initial two year period with two (2) one (1) years options to extend the period of the agreement. The contractor shall furnish all necessary labour, supervision, transportation, material, tools and equipment to carry out the plumbing services for this Standing Offer Agreement. The services include but are not limited to: relocate, install or repair plumbing equipment such as: emergency cleaning of sanitary lines, water pipes and fittings, valves, floor and roof drains, water specialties, plumbing fixtures and domestic hot water storage heaters, monthly greasing of fire hydrants or any other plumbing requirements such as testing and reliability. Bidders are instructed to consult the appended tender package for further details and specific requirements. Site Locations: St. John’s, NL area including but not limited to the buildings located at 270 & 280 Southside Road, and General Services Building (Helicopter Hangar) Torbray Road. Start Date: Upon Award. Completion Date: All work to be completed by 31 October 2015 with two (2) one (1) year option periods. Optional Site Visit: is to be held on November, 12, 2013 at 10:00am local time at the Main Entrance of the CCG Southside Base at 280 Southside Road. Sign in with the commissionaires. They will need to provide photo ID and wear a Hard Hat, Safety Footwear and Safety Vest. St. John’s, NL. All persons wishing to tender on this project may attend this meeting at the site to familiarize themselves fully with the scope of work and the tendering requirements. Security Requirements: Reliability Status clearance required. Security clearance must be obtained prior to award of contract.
