STANDING OFFER AWARD - ELECTRICAL SERVICES, BEAVERLODGE, ALBERTA

OBJECTIVE: 
The Department of Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC), Beaverlodge Research Farm at Research Road, Beaverlodge, Alberta has a requirement for an electrical company to provide a Journeyman Electrician to provide labour, parts and materials, tools and equipment, transportation and supervision for the provision of electrical service work on an "as and when requested" basis. 

BACKGROUND:
The Beaverlodge Research Farm consists of a number of multi-purpose buildings which facilitate a number of Research Programs for the Department of Agriculuture and Agri-Food Canada.  The Farm is located approximately one mile east of the Town of Beaverlodge and serves as a sub-station to the Lacombe Research Center.  

Due to aging infrastructure, AAFC requires more work at this facility and would like to put in place a Standing Offer for Electrical Services.  This would provide staff with an available resource to complete projects for repair, annual maintenance, installation of equipment and all other electrical work.  

SERVICES:
The services required are detailed in the RFSO document, Appendix B.  AAFC anticipates to award a Standing Offer for April 1, 2014 for one (1) year with an Option to Extend for up to two (2) option years. 

OPTIONAL SITE VISIT: 
Vendor's have the option to view the site prior to March 4, 2014 if they wish by pre-arranging an appointment with the Facility Manager.
