NOTICE OF PROPOSED PROCUREMENT Soliciation # : F5211-140055 Closing Date : April 25, 2014 Closing Time : 2:00 PM (Atlantic Daylight Savings Time) This requirement is for the Department of Fisheries and Oceans Title : Atlantic Salmon Enumeration Activities on Harry’s River INTRODUCTION This statement of work is for a contract to provide Atlantic salmon enumeration activities on Harry’s River, near Stephenville Crossing, NL during the spring and summer of 2014. 2014: This will involve the installation, operation and removal of a DIDSON sonar unit, installation of two partial salmon counting fences on Harry’s River (one at Harvey Gale’s Pit and another at Gallants ), as well as associated scientific sampling activities . 2015/2016 for the two one year options, if required: This will involve the installation, operation and removal of a DIDSON sonar unit, installation of a partial salmon counting fence on Harry’s River (Harvey Gale’s Pit), as well as associated scientific sampling activities. PERIOD OF CONTRACT The services are to be performed during the period commencing upon the date of award of the contract and are to be completed by May 15th, 2015 with two (2) optional periods of one (1) year. SECURITY There is no Security Requirement to perform work under this contract. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY There is no intellectual property involved.
