5P313-14-0730 - Aubrey and Cedar Islands dock reconfiguration and reconstruction - Thousand Islands NP Description of Work: Demolition, removal and disposal of the existing dock structures as indicated on the drawings. Supply and installation of new steel pipe floating dock including access ramp and anchoring system. Complete restoration of surrounding areas that are affected by the construction activities. Closing Date and Time: 2:00 PM EDST October 15, 2014 SITE VISIT There will be an optional site meeting at 10am on Wednesday October 8th, 2014. Contractors are to meet at the East Branch Ditch Bridge at Fort Henry. The Cedar Island Dock work will be described from this location. See attached map. Weather permitting and if Bidder's desire, the meeting will re-convene at the Gananoque Marina PUC Docks for a site visit to Aubrey Island work location. See attachment #6 for site visit map. National Parks Regulations require that all work is to be performed in accordance with the ordinances, laws, rules and regulations set out in the National Park Act. Bidders that consider themselves qualified to provide this Work and intend to submit bids on this project should obtain documents from the Government Electronic Tendering Service through the Government of Canada tendering service at www.buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders . Addenda, when issued, will be available from the Government of Canada tendering service. Bidders that elect to base their bids on documents obtained from other sources do so at their own risk. Late submissions will not be considered. Standard Terms and Conditions for this procurement are incorporated by reference into, and form part of the Tender and Contract Documents.
