Description of Work: The works consist mainly to dismantle the existing pumps systems, which include the starter panels, the junction box, level switches (floats) and to supply and install a complete replacement system, including all electric component, the connection, commissioning and the connection to communication network. Closing Date and Time: December 17, 2014 at 2:00 EST. OPTIONAL SITE VISIT It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for the site visit to be held at Carillon Navigation Lock, 230 du Barrage Street, St-André-d’Argenteuil, Quebec J0V 1X0 on December 11 2014. The site visit will begin at 10:30 EST. THE BIDDERS MUST HAVE BOOTS, HELMET AND SAFETY HARNESS FOR THE OPTIONAL SITE VISIT. Bidders are requested to communicate with the Contracting Authority no later than December 10 2014 at 13:00 to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend. Bidders may be requested to sign an attendance sheet. Bidders who do not attend or do not send a representative will not be given an alternative appointment but they will not be precluded from submitting a bid. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation. National Parks Regulations require that all work is to be performed in accordance with the ordinances, laws, rules and regulations set out in the National Park Act. Bidders that consider themselves qualified to provide this Work and intend to submit bids on this project should obtain documents from the Government Electronic Tendering Service through the Government of Canada tendering service at www.buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders . Addenda, when issued, will be available from the Government of Canada tendering service. Bidders that elect to base their bids on documents obtained from other sources do so at their own risk. Late submissions will not be considered. Standard Terms and Conditions for this procurement are incorporated by reference into, and form part of the Tender and Contract Documents. Delivery Date: The Work must be completed on or before March 31, 2015.
