The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) has a requirement for a firm quantity of seven hundred twenty (720) shirts, bicycle long sleeve and one thousand sixty (1060) shirts, bicycle short sleeve. Additionally, there is an optional quantity of up to three hundred (300) shirts, bicycle long sleeve and up to five hundred (500) shirts, bicycle short sleeve which can be exercised within 24 months of contract award. There is a second optional quantity of up to three hundred (300) shirts, bicycle long sleeve and up to five hundred (500) shirts, bicycle short sleeve which can be exercised within 36 months of contract award. This requirement also includes an “as and when requested” quantity of up to thirty (30) made-to-measure shirts, bicycle long sleeve and up to thirty (30) made-to-measure shirts, bicycle short sleeve (specials) which can be ordered within 36 months of contract award. This requirement is to be supplied in accordance with RCMP Specification G.S. 1045-311 dated 2014-12-23, and viewing sample. Specification documents can be found attached to the RFP. The RCMP Viewing Sample will only be available to bidders requested to submit a pre-contract award sample. This requirement is subject to AIT. This requirement is conditionally limited to Canadian Goods. The successful bidder will be determined based upon the lowest priced, technically compliant proposal. The Crown reserves the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement. Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada. The bid solicitation documents contain all the requirements relating to the bid solicitation. Any other information or documentation provided to or obtained by a bidder from any source are not relevant. Bidders should not assume that practices used under previous contracts will continue, unless they are described in the bid solicitation. Bidders should also not assume that their existing capabilities meet the requirements of the bid solicitation simply because they have met previous requirements. It is the Bidder's responsibility to obtain clarification of the requirements contained in the bid solicitation, if necessary, before submitting a bid.
