Close Protection Driver Refresher Training

TENDER NOTICE AMENDMENT 1: 
Purpose: To provide a response to Question 1 on RFSO W8484-15-8366 (attached) 

DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT:
	 
The Canadian Department of National Defence (DND) Canadian Forces Protective Services Unit (CFPSU) and the Canadian Joint Operations Command (CJOC) has a requirement for the provision of Close Protection driver refresher training for CJOC and CFPSU members, in a climate suitable for training on a year-round basis. Training requirements will be called up on an “as and when requested” basis. Training must take place in North America.


BACKGROUND:

The CFPSU is tasked to maintain a high readiness CP capability.  In addition, the CJOC is required to deploy personnel in the CP role.  In order to ensure CP driver skills are retained for the CFPSU task, or honed immediately prior to deployment for the CJOC task, refresher CP driver training is required. Each member attending this refresher training will have previously successfully completed the Canadian Forces CP Operators Course (CF CPOC). 


PERIOD OF STANDING OFFER

The period of the Standing Offer will be for one (1) year from date of award, plus two (2) one (1) year option periods.
