    Description of Work: This project involves the rehabilitation of Promenade Road (km 0 to 5.54) and the replacement of sevent (7) culverts in Mauricie National Park.  No work is planned for the bridge located between km 3.744 and 3.772.  The project includes, but is not limited to, the following work, deforesting demolition of existing structure, excavation, removal and off-site disposal of existing culverts supply and installation of new reinforced prefab concrete culverts,backfill of excavation, cleaning reshaping, riprap and geotextile, complete reconstruction of the road pavement structure, paving, marking temporary signage.
    
    Closing Date and Time: Thursday, June 4, 2015 at 2 o’clock PM (EDT)
    
    MANDATORY SITE VISIT
    It is mandatory that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for the site visit to be held at 3500 chemin Principal, St-Jean-des-Piles, G0X 2V0 on Friday, May 22, 2015. The site visit will begin at 9:00 EDT, in Reception Center.
    
    Bidders must communicate with the Contracting Authority no later than Thursday, May 21, 2015 before 2:00 please contact Céline Morin at (613) 938-5940 to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend. Bidders will be required to sign an attendance sheet. Bidders should confirm in their bid that they have attended the site visit. Bidders who do not attend the mandatory site visit or do not send a representative will not be given an alternative appointment and their bid will be declared non-responsive. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation. 
    
    National Parks Regulations require that all work is to be performed in accordance with the ordinances, laws, rules and regulations set out in the National Park Act.
    
    Bidders that consider themselves qualified to provide this Work and intend to submit bids on this project should obtain documents from the Government Electronic Tendering Service through the Government of Canada tendering service at www.buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders . Addenda, when issued, will be available from the Government of Canada tendering service. Bidders that elect to base their bids on documents obtained from other sources do so at their own risk. Late submissions will not be considered.

    Delivery Date: The Work must be completed on or before July 1st, 2016.
