Janitorial Services This requirement is for: The Correctional Service of Canada, Atlantic District, Parrtown Community Correctional Centre (CCC) Trade agreement: North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA)/Canada-Peru, Canada-Colombia and/or Canada-Chile Free Trade Agreements. Tendering procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid. Competitive Procurement Strategy: lowest priced compliant bid. Set-aside under the Procurement Strategy for Aboriginal Business: This procurement is not subject to any set-asides for Aboriginal Suppliers. Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: This procurement is not subject to a Comprehensive Land Claims Agreement. Security Requirements: This contract includes security requirements. Nature of Requirements: The following is a summary of the statement of work for this requirement. The Correctional Service Canada has a requirement to provide a safe and clean working environment for all staff, residents and visitors at the Parrtown CCC. Objectives: The contractor shall clean all rooms, stairs and corridors. The contractor shall empty, clean and/or wash heavy waste containers, sweeping, damp mopping, washing and scrubbing floors; removing and applying floor finishes; sealing floors; cleaning walls and ceilings; cleaning light fixtures; operating powered cleaning and sanitation equipment; as well as doing other related duties. Deliverables: • The contractor is required to submit monthly invoices, outlining the months of the services rendered and how many days worked during those months. • The contractor shall provide a cleaning inspection report quarterly or at CSC’s request, including, at a minimum, the following information: Inspection date Name(s) of person(s) who performed the inspection. Notes of unsatisfactory conditions observed and the steps taken to correct such conditions. The name of the Correctional Service Canada representative who assisted during the inspection. Expected Delivery Date: From November 1st, 2015 to October 31st, 2016, with 4 optional 1 year periods.
