Requirement: The Gulf Islands National Park Reserve requires a contractor to rebuild the Greenburn Lake Dam and Spillway to meet DSR specifications. The work includes the rebuilding of the access road to the dam and constructing a diversion channel around the Fire Hall located below the dam as specified within the specifications and drawings. Project Timeline: The Contractor shall perform and complete the Work by December 15, 2015. Mandatory Site Visit: There will be a site visit on June 18, 2015 at 10:30am PDT. Interested bidders are to meet at the entrance gate to the Greenburn Lake Property on South Pender Island. Interested bidders are to meet at the gate that is adjacent to the Fire Hall, located at 8961 Gowland Point Road and are advised not to park in the Fire Hall parking lot. The site visit for this project is MANDATORY. The representative of the bidder will be required to sign the Site Visit Attendance Sheet at the site visit. Bids submitted by Bidders who have not signed the attendance sheet will not be accepted. Bid Submission: Bids are to be sent to: Parks Canada Agency Contracting Operations Suite 1300 - 635 8 Avenue SW Calgary, Alberta T2P 3M3 Information: National Parks Regulations require that all work is to be performed in accordance with the ordinances, laws, rules and regulations set out in the National Park Act. Bidders that consider themselves qualified to provide this Work and intend to submit bids on this project should obtain documents from the Government Electronic Tendering Service through the Government of Canada tendering service at www.buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders . Addenda, when issued, will be available from the Government of Canada tendering service. Bidders that elect to base their bids on documents obtained from other sources do so at their own risk. Late submissions will not be considered. This PCA office provides procurement services to the public in English. The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement. Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
