This contract was awarded to:
A) The work will be conducted over two phases. 1. The work in the canal of the first phase must begin after October 15st 2015 and the work of this phase must be completed for December 23th 2015. 2. The second phase can begin after March 1st 2016 and the work must be completed before May 1st 2016. 3. The work under each phase (1-8) are identified in the drawing and timetable are provided in submittal documents. B) The work includes: 1. Civil Works; Structure Work (demolition and removal of existing structure and installation of precast structure); Heavy Mechanics; Electrical Work. Bid Security is required. Contractors must have $5,000,000.00 Liability Insurance Coverage. Optional Site Visit: There will be a site visit on Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at 10:00 AM (local time) at 500 chemin des Iroquois, Lachine QC H8S 4J5. For details, see the ITT. National Parks Regulations require that all work is to be performed in accordance with the ordinances, laws, rules and regulations set out in the National Park Act. Bidders that consider themselves qualified to provide this Work and intend to submit bids on this project should obtain documents from the Government Electronic Tendering Service through the Government of Canada tendering service at www.buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders . Addenda, when issued, will be available from the Government of Canada tendering service. Bidders that elect to base their bids on documents obtained from other sources do so at their own risk. Late submissions will not be considered. Standard Terms and Conditions for this procurement are incorporated by reference into, and form part of the Tender and Contract Documents. Delivery Date: The Work must be completed on or before May 1, 2016. Inquiries are to be made in writing and should be received no less than five (5) calendar days prior to the closing date to allow sufficient time to respond.
