5P300-15-5225 Kingston Mills West Earth Dam Seepage Control Description of Work: The project comprises the rehabilitation of Kinston Mills West Earth Dam, located 450m west of Kingston Mills Lock Station, in order to control seepage. Work includes: installation of silt fences and environmental measures; stripping, removal and disposal of topsoil and general excavations; installation of subsurface drains and weir boxes; supply, placement and compaction of granular material and rip rap; and site restoration and clean up. Closing Date and Time: August 20, 2015 at 2 pm (EDT) Site Visit Optional: There will be a site visit on August 11, 2015 at 2:00 pm. Meet at Parks Canada Kingston Mills Lock Station parking lot, 563 Kingston Mills Road, Kingston Ontario. Under the National Parks Regulations, all work will be done in accordance with the ordinances, laws, rules and regulations related to the National Parks Act. Bidders that consider themselves qualified to provide this Work and intend to submit bids on this project should obtain documents from the Government Electronic Tendering Service through the Government of Canada tendering service at www.buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders . Addenda, when issued, will be available from the Government of Canada tendering service. Bidders that elect to base their bids on documents obtained from other sources do so at their own risk. Late submissions will not be considered. Standard Terms and Conditions for this procurement are incorporated by reference into, and form part of the Tender and Contract Documents. Delivery Date: The work must be completed on or before October 29, 2015.
