Kingston Mills Arch Dam Resurfacing

Description of Work: The work required will include the necessary labour, materials, tools, equipment, transportation and supervision to complete the resurfacing of the existing deteriorated concrete coping of the historic stone arch dam, located at the Kingston Mills Lock station in Kingston, Ontario. Additional work includes minor landscaping work.

Closing Date and Time: Monday, August 25, 2015 at 14:00 hrs (EDT)

Optional Site Visit: 
THERE WILL BE AN OPTIONAL SITE VISIT ON: August 18th, 2015 @ 10:00 AM.

It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for the site visit to be held at the Arch Dam, located at Kingston Mills Lock station

Bidders are requested to communicate with the Contracting Authority no later than Monday, Aug 17th, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. (EDT) to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend. Bidders may be requested to sign an attendance sheet. Bidders who do not attend or do not send a representative will not be given an alternative appointment but they will not be precluded from submitting a bid. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation.

Bidders that consider themselves qualified to provide this Work and intend to submit bids on this project should obtain documents from the Government Electronic Tendering Service through the Government of Canada tendering service at www.buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders . Addenda, when issued, will be available from the Government of Canada tendering service. Bidders that elect to base their bids on documents obtained from other sources do so at their own risk. Late submissions will not be considered.

Standard Terms and Conditions for this procurement are incorporated by reference into, and form part of the Tender and Contract Documents. 
Delivery Date: The Work must be completed on or before November 27, 2015.
