Description of Work: This project involves the replacement of MCC in Piers #1 to #5 and North mechanical room C-1 of Saint-Ours Canal Dam. In addition, supply and install two junction between the outdoor substation and pier #1, passing through the North mechanical room C-1 to repatriate supervisory signals at the control system for remote monitoring. Closing Date and Time: August 27, 2015 at 2 o’clock PM (EDT) SITE VISIT It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for the site visit to be held at 1453 Saint-Jean-Baptiste (route 223), St-Roch-de-Richelieu, Québec J3L 2M0 on August 20 2015. The site visit will begin at 10:00 AM EDT. Bidders are requested to communicate with the Contracting Authority no later than August 19, 2015 at 2 o’clock to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend. Bidders may be requested to sign an attendance sheet. Bidders who do not attend or do not send a representative will not be given an alternative appointment but they will not be precluded from submitting a bid. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation. National Parks Regulations require that all work is to be performed in accordance with the ordinances, laws, rules and regulations set out in the National Park Act. Bidders that consider themselves qualified to provide this Work and intend to submit bids on this project should obtain documents from the Government Electronic Tendering Service through the Government of Canada tendering service at www.buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders . Addenda, when issued, will be available from the Government of Canada tendering service. Bidders that elect to base their bids on documents obtained from other sources do so at their own risk. Late submissions will not be considered. Standard Terms and Conditions for this procurement are incorporated by reference into, and form part of the Tender and Contract Documents. Delivery Date: The Work must be completed on or before March 31, 2017.
