    This requirement is for: The Correctional Service of Canada, Prairie Region (various federal correctional institutions in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba). 
    
    Trade agreement:	 Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT), World Trade Organisation-Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-AGP), North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA)/Canada-Peru, Canada-Colombia and/or Canada-Chile Free Trade Agreements.

    Nature of Requirements: 
    
    The following is a summary of the statement of work for this requirement. 
    
    The Correctional Service Canada has a requirement to provide an ‘Introduction to Scaffolding’ training program, up to six (6) weeks in length, where time spent in the program will be recognized towards an apprenticeship program recognized within the province of delivery. 
    Training to include but is not limited to: Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), FALL PROTECTION, FIRE PREVENTION, FRAME SCAFFOLDS, MODULAR SCAFFOLDS, TUBE AND CLAMP, MATERIAL HANDLING AND RIGGING BASICS and Safety Practices.
    
    Objectives: To provide third party certification in Introduction to Scaffolding Training sessions to groups of offenders at Federal Institutions in the Prairie Region (Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta). 
    
    Tasks: 
    
    The Contractor must provide qualified instructor(s) registered with a Private Vocational Institute or Accredited Trade Training Partner to deliver the Introduction to Scaffolding training. 
    
    The contractor must provide an ‘Introduction to Scaffolding’ training program, up to six (6) weeks in length, where time spent in the program will be recognized towards an apprenticeship program recognized within the province of delivery. 
    
    The Contractor must provide the Introduction to Scaffolding Training courses at Federal Institutions in the Prairie Region. The course must include classroom theory and practical experience including the setup and dismantling of scaffolding.
    
    The estimated number of sessions per year for each CSC institutional site is listed below.
    Note: These numbers are not guaranteed number of sessions per year.  The training sessions are to be held at various times throughout the year and will depend on funding available.
    
    	Alberta
    	Bowden Institution (Innisfail) – up to 2 groups/year
    	Drumheller Institution (Drumheller) – up to 2 courses/per year
    	PeSakastew Healing Centre (Maskwascis) – up to 1 course/per year
    
    	Saskatchewan
    	Willow Cree Healing Lodge (Duck Lake) – up to 1 course/per year
        
    	Manitoba
    	Stony Mountain Institution (Stony Mountain, MB) – up to 2 courses/per year
    		
    *Minimum class will be 10 participants. Maximum class size will be 15 participants. 
    
    *If the successful participant rate is unsatisfactory, CSC reserves the right to request a subsequent instructor to be agreed upon by both parties.
    
    The contractor must provide the training during available hours of Monday to Friday, 8:00-16:00.
    
    The contractor must provide all manuals, handouts, PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), scaffolding materials and necessary equipment for the course participants. The contractor is also responsible for the transportation of all the materials and equipment to the training site(s).
    
    The contractor must provide delivery of all materials/equipment to the site prior to the start of the course.  The contractor is responsible for the delivery of all materials/equipment to and from the institutional sites for these courses. Assistance to unload equipment on site will be provided by the institution.
    
    The contractor must provide the training materials, written and practical exercises as well as the testing required for the completion of the Introduction to Scaffolding course.
    
    Expected Delivery Date: 
    The period for making call-ups against the Standing Offer is from award of the Standing Offer to June 30th, 2017 with an additional two (2) one year periods, from July 1, 2017 to June 30, 2018, and from July 1, 2018 to June 30, 2019,
