Description of Work: Statistics Canada operates two distinct networks, one isolated and restricted from external communications (Network A) and one connected to the Internet via firewall devices (Network B and PAZ). Approaches to managing systems in these environments must take into consideration either the risks inherent in exposure to the Internet or the issues relating to the secure transport of material into the isolated secure environment. For example, information provided in confidence may be processed, stored, accessed or transmitted only on its isolated network (Network A). The objective of this consultancy is to assist in the development and implementation of the Network Transformation Roadmap (NTRM) enabling StatCan to move from its current 2 network architecture to a single network architecture within SSC’s managed data centres.
