Cognos BI (Business Intelligence) Practice

SUMMARY

a. This bid solicitation is being issued to satisfy the requirement of the Canada School of Public Service for Task-Based Informatics Professional Services (TBIPS) under the TBIPS Supply Arrangement (SA) method of supply.

b. It is intended to result in the award of one (1) contract for a period from contract award to March 31, 2016, plus one (1) one (1) year irrevocable option allowing Canada to extend the term of the contract.

c. The solution team has a requirement for the provision of informatics professional services to assist with CSPS’s strategic priority to enhance the reporting and business analytics capability of CSPS.

This Request for Proposal (RFP) is intended to establish a contract with a vendor who has an existing Business Intelligence practice and is able to provide the Solutions Team with a number of IT specialists (as listed below) to: resources to: optimize the existing technical architecture, build and deploy various features and tools including the BI portal to different user groups; with the various data sources, build intelligence for strategic, tactical and operational decision making; build and deploy reports and dashboard to report on our performance and demonstrate value for our client departments.
