Repair Work Shop #3 - Smith Workshop

Description of Work:

Structural repair works

1. Injections cracks in the concrete wall.
2. Repair of the cavities in the concrete surface.
3. Sandblast the existing lead paint and paint the existing steel structure. Dispose of lead paint residues at an authorized site.
4. Demolition of the roof the existing steel and dispose of demolition materials in a permitted outside of the owner's limit site.
5. Barricade with veneer the existing openings.

Architectural works

1. Supplies and install the new roofing.
2. Supplies and install a new access and garage door.

Closing Date and Time: October 28, 2015 at 2 o’clock (EDT)

OPTIONAL SITE VISIT

It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for the site visit to be held at 1156 Mill, Montréal on October 14, 2015. The site visit will begin at 10:00 a.m.

Bidders are requested to communicate with the Contracting Authority no later than October 13, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. (EDT) to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend. Bidders may be requested to sign an attendance sheet. Bidders who do not attend or do not send a representative will not be given an alternative appointment but they will not be precluded from submitting a bid. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation.

National Parks Regulations require that all work is to be performed in accordance with the ordinances, laws, rules and regulations set out in the National Park Act.

Bidders that consider themselves qualified to provide this Work and intend to submit bids on this project should obtain documents from the Government Electronic Tendering Service through the Government of Canada tendering service at www.buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders . Addenda, when issued, will be available from the Government of Canada tendering service. Bidders that elect to base their bids on documents obtained from other sources do so at their own risk. Late submissions will not be considered.
Standard Terms and Conditions for this procurement are incorporated by reference into, and form part of the Tender and Contract Documents.

Delivery Date: Complete the repair works (30) business days following the notice of adjudication.
