Sealed, signed tenders will be received up to 2:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time: October 28, 2015 for the attached services in accordance with the documents enclosed.

Any tender received after the above noted time will be considered late and will be returned to the sender unopened. Tenders may be revised by email, letter or fax (613) 991-1297, provided the tender and revision(s) are both received prior to Tender Closing Time.

Nature of the Work:

The work consists of a minimum 3-person carpentry ground crew for 300 man-days. The nature of the work consists of replacing timber floating decking, bull rails, risers and rub boards, including any required field treating. All work shall include supply of equipment, labour and materials necessary for the performance and completion of this work in the specified number of days, with the exception of all owner supplied materials specified in the Tender Documents.

Location of Work, Work site and Delivery Point:

The site is located at Campbell River Discovery Harbour, near the intersection of Spit Road and Henderson Avenue, Campbell River, BC V9W 6E3.

Start Date: Upon Contract Award

Completion Date: All work to be completed within 20 weeks from contract award date.

Bidders should note that all questions regarding this request for proposals must be submitted in writing, No Later Than October 16, 2015, 2 pm (14:00 Hours) EASTERN DAYLIGHT TIME to the contract authority. The department may be unable to respond to questions submitted after that date.

Fisheries and Oceans Canada will not necessarily accept the lowest or any of the tenders received and reserves the right to reject any and all tenders received which shall be final and at the sole discretion of the Department.
