Nature of Work

The work of this contract includes the provision of all materials, labour, equipment, and ancillaries, all as necessary for the completion of the work as indicated on the drawings and as described in the specifications and notes. Work on this project consists generally of, but not limited to the following:

  1. Supply, install and remove all environmental protection measures.
  2. Construct Haul-Out Slip
  • Supply & install steel sheet piles (SSP)
  • Excavate and prepare granular base for precast concrete ramp sections
  • Place precast concrete ramp sections
  • Grade, place Class A granular and asphalt pavement.

Location of Work, Work site and Delivery Point: Work will be carried out at Tracadie Harbour, Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island.

Start Date: Upon contract award.

Completion Date: All work to be completed by October 31st, 2016.
