Installation of Three New Vacuum Monitored Storage Tanks

Sealed, signed tenders will be received up to 2:00 pm Eastern Daylight Time: Thursday October 29, 2015 for the attached services in accordance with the documents enclosed.

Bid Security is required for bids over $100,000.

Proof of Insurance

Any tender received after the above noted time will be considered late and will be returned to the sender unopened. Tenders may be revised by email, letter or fax (613) 991-1297, provided the tender and revision(s) are both received prior to Tender Closing Time.

Nature of the Work:

The work consists of the installation of three new above-ground double walled vacuum monitored storage tanks as per the Statement of Work and diagrams provided.

Location of Work, Work site and Delivery Point:

The Site is located at the Canadian Coast Guard Hangar in Charlottetown, 1 Queen Street

Charlottetown, PE.

An Optional Site Visit will be held on October 21, 2015 from 10:00-11:00am (ADT).

The site visit will only occur if contractors have contacted the Contracting Officer (Melissa Saumure) to confirm their attendance. Otherwise it will be assumed a site visit is not necessary to accurately bid on this requirement.

Please Note:

- A maximum of 1 person per Contractor will be permitted

- 2 days advanced noticed is to be given to the Contracting Officer will respect to the company and individuals attending the visit

Start Date: Upon Contract Award

Completion Date: All work to be completed by March 31, 2016

Bidders should note that all questions regarding this request for proposals must be submitted in writing, No Later Than October 26^th, 2015, 2:00 pm EASTERN DAYLIGHT TIME to the contract authority. The department may be unable to respond to questions submitted after that date.

Fisheries and Oceans Canada will not necessarily accept the lowest or any of the tenders received and reserves the right to reject any and all tenders received which shall be final and at the sole discretion of the Department.
