This requirement is open only to those invited TSPS Supply Arrangement Holders who qualified under the stream for: Project Manager for Real Property (two senior and one junior resource)

Description of the requirement:

Health Canada requires an experienced laboratory relocation project management team to plan and coordinate the logistics to move 21 wet laboratories (biology/chemistry) involving sensitive equipment and materials and up to 180 employees from the Environmental Health Centre (EHC) building to the Sir Frederick Banting Research Centre (SFBRC) within Tunney’s Pasture.

The procured Project Team must ensure that all necessary logistical and planning preparatory work is identified and completed to ensure that the relocation of laboratory equipment and infrastructure moving from the EHC to the SFBRC can be conducted in a safe, efficient, timely and cost effective manner. The Project Team will develop:

• An overall Project Plan;
• A Laboratory Equipment Plan;
• A Material Relocation Management Plan;
• A Schedule for the move of the 21 laboratories; and
• Cost estimates.

In addition the Project Team will execute the project plans for the relocation of the laboratories from the EHC to the SFBRC.

Proposed period of contract:

From contract award to June 30, 2017, with two option periods that could potentially extend the contract to December 2017.

The estimated level of effort of the project management team is 1,100 days
