Pathology Lab Project in St-John’s

Scope of Work:
The Pathology Lab project consists of a complete refurbishment of the existing facility to bring it up to modern laboratory standards. The work will include the removal of asbestos contained within the walls and ceiling as well as the flooring. New casework will be installed that will incorporate the existing and new equipment as well as new upper cabinets with glass doors for better organization of stored supplies. There will be upgrades to the mechanical and electrical services and lighting.
Site Visit:
A site visit will be held on Tuesday, December 1st, 2015 at 9:00 AM (NST) at Building 25 located at 308 Brookfield Road in St-John’s, Newfoundland. Offerors who do not attend or send a representative will not be given an alternative appointment but they will not be precluded from submitting a bid. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation and will be posted on buyandsell.gc.ca.
Tender Period Closing Date and Time: December 10, 2015 at 02:00 pm (Eastern Standard Time).
AAFC will not necessarily accept the lowest or any tender.

Bidders who contact anyone other than the AAFC Contract Officer to obtain such information during the solicitation period may, for that reason alone, be disqualified.
