RFP - Annual Chaplain Training Exercise

BACKGROUND

The Chaplain General is required by Interfaith Committee on Canadian Military Chaplaincy (ICCMC) to provide an Annual Chaplain Training Exercise for Chaplains serving in the Canadian Forces for the development of their spiritual and intellectual life.

REQUIREMENT:

The Department of National Defence, on behalf of the Canadian Forces Chaplain General, has a requirement for meeting facilities, accommodations and provision of meals to host a six (6) day, five (5) nights retreat for up to 250 people.

The Event will be held at a location outside the City of Ottawa, Ontario, and the City of Gatineau, Québec, but within one hundred and fifty kilometres of the Montreal Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport and 200 km from Ottawa International Airport.

The Contractor will be required to provide:

1. Up to twelve (12) breakout rooms;

2. Two (2) administration offices;

3. Minimum three (3) star rating accommodations for up to 250 persons for up to five (5) nights (May 29 to June 3 2016 inclusive) and for up to 6 persons for up to two (2) nights (May 27 to May 29, 2016 inclusive);

4.A sit-down breakfast, lunch, and dinner per person per day (hot and cold breakfasts, lunches and hotdinner buffet or cafeteria style or service) for up to 250 persons at the same time;

5. Meet & Greet reception with seating for up to 250 persons;

6. Formal Dinner for up to 250 persons; and

7. Health breaks for up to two hundred and twenty (250) persons.
