MANDATE:

The Port Simpson Small Craft Harbour, located 32 km north of Prince Rupert, British Columbia, in the town of Port Simpson, requires revitalization to its harbour. Work covered comprises of the following:

  • supply of steel pipe piles;

  • assembly of timber float modules

  • removal of existing floats; and

  • piling and installation of new floats and piling.

Expected Start and Completion Dates

The services of the Contractor will be commencing on award of the contract and as such:

  • Steel piles are to be supplied no later than March 31, 2106;
  • All work with the exception of the steel pile supply is to commence no earlier than May 1, 2016; and
  • The expected completion date of this project is no later than January 31, 2017.
