Requirement: Indian Oil and Gas Canada (IOGC), a Special Operating Agency within the Department of Indigenous and Northern Affairs Canada (INAC), has a requirement for the provision of oil and gas well, facility, operator, pool and field data published by provincial regulatory bodies in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin for regular monthly upload to IOGC’s main database (Resource Information Management System - RIMS) in accordance with Annex A, Statement of Work.
Background: IOGC is responsible for the management, administration and timely disposition of Indian oil and gas resources on designated Indian Reserves across Canada. IOGC has as its legislative basis the Indian Act, the Indian Oil and Gas Act, and the Indian Oil and Gas Regulations, 1995.
IOGC regulates oil and gas production on First Nation reserve lands and is involved with leasing of the lands, the negotiation of surface rentals, collecting royalties and performing audits
The primary system that IOGC uses to manage and administer First Nation oil and gas resources is its Resource Information Management System (RIMS). RIMS is an Oracle database and includes well and facility data that is updated monthly via a data upload file.
Contract period for the Data Upload is to be two (2) years with an option to extend the contract period up to one (1) additional consecutive one (1) year period.
Delivery Date: Estimated start date April 15, 2016.
The area of service delivery is the Calgary Sub-Region.
Canada retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
