TITLE:
HIGHWAY 430 NORTH - REPLACEMENT OF 86 CULVERTS BETWEEN KM 39.9 AND 88.5 IN GROS MORNE NATIONAL PARK, NL
DESCRIPTION OF WORK:
Parks Canada Agency (PCA) has a requirement for construction services to replace 86 culverts between km 39.9 and 88.5 of Highway 430 in Gros Morne National Park in Newfoundland (this segment is also known as Highway 430 North). Note that km 0.00 is located at the park entrance in Wiltondale. Work on this project consists generally of, but is not limited to, the excavation, removal and disposal of existing CSP culverts indicated for replacement, supply and installation of new galvanized CSP arch and aluminized CSP culverts, the reconstruction of the roadway embankment to match existing, as well as the installation of new asphalt pavement, including keyed joints at existing pavement, all in accordance with the plans and specifications forming part of the bid document.
