SCOPE OF WORK / DELIVERABLES
The project has two facets: improving access to Wharf 401 and the Shoreline protection behind Wharf 402.
Improving access to Wharf 401
The Contractor will need to excavate rock outcrops with a machinery such as a tramack and level material into a regular acceptable slope. Grading of loose material will possibly be necessary too.
Shoreline protection
The access road to Wharf 402 has been eroding in the recent years. A historical recess of shoreline more than 25 meters can be observed. The project is to fill 8m of shoreline with quarry run, which will be protected by 1 to 2 metric ton stones. Compacted gravel on surface and geotextile will be put on top of stonework to allow the safe passage of vehicles.
Expected Start and Completion Dates
The services of the Contractor will be commencing upon award of the contract. The expected completion date of this project is August 31st, 2016.
