TITLE:

MAJOR REHABILITATION OF ROAD 132 IN FORILLON NATIONAL PARK – PHASE III

DESCRIPTION OF WORK:

The work covered by the contract is to complete phase 3 of a major rehabilitation of Route 132 in Forillon National Park and includes, without being limited to, the reconstruction of an existing section of road between km 3+084 and 4+600, the construction of a new stretch of road between km 8+700 and 9+760 at the northern entrance to the park, the removal of the asphalt on an older section of road and the replacement of various culverts.

OPTIONAL CONFERENCE CALL:

A bidders' conference will be held on Wednesday June 1^st, 2016. The conference call will begin at 10:00 am (EDT). The scope of the requirement outlined in the bid solicitation will be reviewed during the conference call and questions will be answered. It is recommended that bidders who intend to submit a bid attend the conference call.

Bidders are requested to communicate with the Contracting Authority before the conference call to confirm attendance. Bidders should provide, in writing, to the Contracting Authority, the names of the person(s) who will be attending the conference call and a list of issues they wish to table at least 2 working days before the scheduled conference call.

Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the bidders' conference call will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation. Bidders who do not attend will not be precluded from submitting a bid.

PERIOD OF THE CONTRACT:

The period of the Contract is from contract award date to June 30, 2017 inclusive.
