The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) has a requirement for a contractor to provide labour, certain materials, and supervision necessary to install and remove police emergency equipment, safety equipment, and radio/communication equipment on RCMP vehicles on an “if and when” requested basis, over a twelve (12) month period, with three (3) additional twelve months option to extend, in St. John’s, Newfoundland in accordance with the terms and conditions and the Scope of Work as detailed within this document or as directed by the Atlantic Region Fleet Manager or Site Authority of the RCMP “B” Division, Newfoundland and Labrador.
The contractor must provide an outdoor storage compound located on-site of Contractor’s installation facility in the St. John’s or surrounding are that has the capacity to store a minimum of fifteen (15) RCMP vehicles at any given time. The number of vehicles requiring storage is expected to fluctuate.

Inquiries are to be made in writing and should be received no less than five (5) calendar days prior to the closing date to allow sufficient time to respond. Inquiries made via telephone will not be responded to.
Firms intending to submit tenders on this project should obtain tender documents through the Public Works and Government Services (PWGSC) Buy and Sell website. Amendments, if issued, will be available from the PWGSC Buy and Sell website. Firms that elect to base their bids on tender documents obtained from other sources do so at their own risk and will be solely responsible to inform the tender calling authority of their intention to bid.
A bid must comply with the requirements of the bid solicitation and meet all mandatory technical evaluation criteria to be declared responsive. The responsive bid with the lowest evaluated price will be recommended for award of a contract.
RCMP has adopted the Integrity Regime administered by PSPC. As a result, the integrity provisions are being applied in RCMP contracting activities as outlined in this solicitation.
The Crown retains the right to negotiate with any suppliers on any procurement.
Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
This procurement is subject to the provisions of The Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT).
