Scope of Work:
The scope of work involves the replacement of the roof system for Blair House in Kentville, Nova Scotia with a new metal roof. The work involves removing the existing asphalt roof shingles, installation new 5/8 plywood sheathing to the roof, along with a new high temperature peel and stick membrane, covered with new metal shingles. The project scope also includes a specified quantity of wood replacement items due to damage or rot, etc.
Site Visit:
A site visit will be held on Wednesday, July 6th, 2016 at 1:00PM (ADT) at 32 Main Street, Kentville Nova Scotia B4N 1J5. Offerors who do not attend or send a representative will not be given an alternative appointment but they will not be precluded from submitting a bid. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation and will be posted on buyandsell.gc.ca.
Tender Period Closing Date and Time: Friday July 15th, 2016 at 02:00 pm (Eastern Daylight Time).
AAFC will not necessarily accept the lowest or any tender.
