Award Notice - Request for Standing Offer for Electrical Services - AAFC, Lacombe Research and Development Centre

OBJECTIVE:

The Lacombe Research Centre requires a Journeyman Electrician to provide labour, parts and materials, tools and equipment, transportation and supervision for Electrical Services on an "as and when required" basis.

SERVICES REQUIRED:

Service includes but is not limited to:

1. Servicing electrical on all types of boiler room equipment, variable speed drives, plantequipment such as saws, fume hood and exhaust systems, etc.;
2. Repair and install light fixtures, electrical motors, electrical outlets and switches, etc.;
3. Repairs to building control system and emergency power systems;
4. Troubleshooting, diagnosing problems and repairs to equipment, machinery and all associated low and high voltage wiring;
5. Load balancing of distribution systems;
6. Connecting power to new equipment brought into the Centre;
7. Running computer and telephone lines;
8. Legislated electrical maintenance requirements;
9. On call service "during regular facility hours";
10. Emergency service "outside regular facility hours", if required.

Canada intends to complete the rating of submissions received and award a Standing Offer as soon as possible after bid closing.

The Initial Term of the Standing Offer will be for a one (1) year period with three (3) additional one (1) year option years.

OPTIONAL SITE VISIT:

Companies have the option to view the site prior to submitting a bid.There will be an Optional Site Visit on Thursday, July 21 at 1:30 p.m. local standard time. See details within the RFSO.
