    This requirement is for: The Correctional Service of Canada, Corcan Employment & Employability, Atlantic Region.

    Tendering procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid.

    Competitive Procurement Strategy: lowest priced compliant bid.

    Nature of Requirements:

    The following is a summary of the statement of work for this requirement.

    The Correctional Service Canada has a requirement to provide First Aid and CPR with AED training courses.

    Objectives: The Contractor must provide a three day standard First Aid and CPR with AED training courses (Red Cross or St. John’s Ambulance) to groups of offenders at Federal Institutions in the Atlantic Region (Dorchester Med & Min, Springhill Institution, Nova Institution & Atlantic Institution).

    Deliverables: The Contractor must provide qualified instructor(s) certified to deliver First Aid / CPR with AED Level A courses at Federal Institutions in the Atlantic Region.

    The Contractor must provide all necessary materials to deliver the First Aid and CPR with AED courses. This will include, but is not limited to: training manuals, written and practical exercises, bandages, CPR dummies, and blankets, cleaning supplies, handouts and other consumables. They must also provide testing as required for the completion of Standard First Aid and CPR, and certification documents for successful participants.

    The Contractor must provide, upon completion of each course, a list of successful participants given to the designated manager of the institutional site.

    The Contractor must provide Red Cross or St. John’s Ambulance certificates for successful candidates within 21 days of course completion, to be delivered to the designated manager of the institutional site.

    The Contractor must provide a detailed invoice within 21 days of completion of each course, detailing the number of participants, course dates, location, and instructor name.

    Expected Delivery Date: between September 1st, 2016 and August 31st , 2017 with two (2) option years.
