TITLE:
CONCRETE DECK DEMOLITION OF FRYER’S DAM, RICHELIEUR RIVER, CARIGNAN
DESCRIPTION OF WORK:
The Work covered by this contract includes and are not limited to: mobilisation, demobilisation, banks planning, demolition of concrete deck including paving and all components fixed to the concrete deck. Provide maritime access structures, and required equipment and labour to complete works as specified in plans and specs.
OPTIONAL SITE VISIT:
It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for the site visit to be held at the Fryer Dam, on the Richelieu side as indicated on the location of the meeting map (Point de rencontre - Location of meeting.pdf), on Thursday, August 11, 2016. The site visit will begin at 10:00 a.m. (local time).
Bidders are requested to communicate with the Contracting Authority (Annie Roy - annie.roy@pc.gc.ca) no later than Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. (EDT) to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend. Bidders may be requested to sign an attendance sheet. Bidders who do not attend or do not send a representative will not be given an alternative appointment but they will not be precluded from submitting a bid. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation.
NOTE TO POTENTIAL BIDDERS:
Bidders that consider themselves qualified to provide this Work and intend to submit bids on this project should obtain documents from the Government Electronic Tendering Service through the Government of Canada tendering service at www.buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders . Addenda, when issued, will be available from the Government of Canada tendering service. Bidders that elect to base their bids on documents obtained from other sources do so at their own risk. Late submissions will not be considered.

PERIOD OF THE CONTRACT:
The period of the Contract is from contract award date to May 12, 2017 inclusive.
