The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) has a requirement for a firm quantity of 228 pairs of Boots, High Brown broken down as follows: 174 pairs of Boots, High Brown, Male in various sizes and 54 pairs of Boots, High Brown, Female in various sizes. This requirement includes flexible stock ("as and when requested" regular sizes) quantity of up to 40 pairs of Boots, High Brown which can be ordered within 36 months of contract award. This requirement also includes an “as and when requested” quantity of up to 320 made-to-measure pairs of Boots, High Brown broken down as follows: 245 Boots, High Brown, Male (specials) and 75 pairs of Boots, High Brown, Female (specials) which can be ordered within 36 months of contract award.

This requirement is to be supplied in accordance with RCMP Specification G.S. 1045-091 dated 2016-03-09, and viewing sample. Specification documents can be found attached to the Request for Proposal (RFP).

The RCMP Viewing Sample will only be available to bidders requested to submit a pre-contract award sample.

This requirement is subject to the Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT).

This requirement is conditionally limited to Canadian goods (See AIT - Article 504, paragraph 6).

The responsive bid with the lowest evaluated price will be recommended for award of a contract (1 contract).

The Crown reserves the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.

Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.

The bid solicitation documents contain all the requirements relating to the bid solicitation. Any other information or documentation provided to or obtained by a bidder from any source are not relevant. Bidders should not assume that practices used under previous contracts will continue, unless they are described in the bid solicitation. Bidders should also not assume that their existing capabilities meet the requirements of the bid solicitation simply because they have met previous requirements. It is the Bidder's responsibility to obtain clarification of the requirements contained in the bid solicitation, if necessary, before submitting a bid.
