The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit bids from interested Canadian organizations for the lighting energy efficiency upgrade project – Phase II – TVAC at the David Florida Laboratory (DFL) in Ottawa.
The R2710T (2016-04-04) General Instructions - Construction Services – Bid security requirementsare incorporated by reference into and form part of the bid solicitation.
Optional Site Visit
It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for a tour of the work site. The site visit will be held on August 31, 2016; at 14:00pm at David Florida Laboratory (3701 Carling Avenue, Ottawa, Ontario, K2H 8S2). Bidders can communicate with the Contracting Authority one (1) day before the scheduled visit to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend. Bidders may be requested to sign an attendance form. Bidders who do not attend or send a representative will not be given an alternative appointment but they will not be precluded from Submitting a bid. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation.
* For the site visit, you have to bring an identification card that you will show at the reception.
* For the site visit, it is recommended bringing the request for proposals documentation with you to be able to take notes.
