TITLE:
MASONRY LOCK WALL REPOINTING AND RESTORATION, LOCK 30 LOVESICK

DESCRIPTION OF WORK:
Parks Canada Agency (PCA) has a requirement for construction services associated with the Masonry Lock Wall Repointing and Restoration, Lock 30 Lovestick. Work will require water access for all equipment and material, coffer dam installation, raking, grouting, dutchman repairs, repointing, stone replacement, removal of existing concrete patch repair, case in place concrete, and site restoration.

DELIVERY DATE:
The Contractor shall commence mobilization no earlier than October 11^th 2016 and complete the work by April 30^th, 2017. The Lock must remain operational up to and including October 16^th 2016.

NOTE TO POTENTIAL BIDDERS:
Bidders that consider themselves qualified to provide this Work and intend to submit bids on this project should obtain documents from the Government Electronic Tendering Service through the Government of Canada tendering service at www.buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders . Addenda, when issued, will be available from the Government of Canada tendering service. Bidders that elect to base their bids on documents obtained from other sources do so at their own risk. Late submissions will not be considered.

This PCA office provides procurement services to the public in both official languages.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.

Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.

BID RECEIVING:
Bids are submitted following a two-envelope procedure in which Bidders submit the technical component of their bid in one envelope and the proposed price in a second envelope.
