Medical Consultation Services – Physician

The International Health Protection & Wellness (IHPW) Unit of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) requires the services of a qualified medical physician to provide occupational health and medicine services on an as and when requested basis.

To be declared responsive, a bid must comply with all the requirements of the bid solicitation; meet all mandatory criteria; and must achieve the minimum pass mark of 36 points to be considered compliant. Minimum pass mark: 60%. This is described in detail in the Request for Proposal.

The selection will be based on the highest responsive combined rating of technical merit and price. The ratio will be 70% for the technical merit and 30% for the price. This is described in detail in the Request for Proposal.

The resulting contract shall be for a one year period from contract award date. In addition, the RCMP has an irrevocable option to extend the contract for two (2) additional one (1) year period(s). This is described in detail in the Request for Proposal.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.

The Ineligibility and Suspension Policy and integrity clauses are being incorporated in RCMP contracting activities as outlined in this solicitation.

Bids must be submitted only to Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) Bid Receiving Unit by the date, time and place indicated on page 1 of the bid solicitation.

Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
