This requirement is for the Department of National Defence.

This requirement is open only to those TBIPS Supply Arrangement Holders who qualified under Tier 1 for services in the Ontario Region for the following categories:

One (1) Level 3 T.6 Telecommunication System Specialist

One (1) Level 2 T.6 Telecommunication System Specialist

Description of Work:

The Department of National Defence requires the services of two Telecommunication System Specialists at the senior and intermediate levels to provide direct support to Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) line crews to conduct antenna, tower and cable plant maintenance at CFB Kingston at the Materiel Maintenance Facility (MMF) . These services include identifying, cataloguing and maintaining configuration control in the DND supply system of the military materiel used in the Assistant Deputy Minister Information Management (ADM(IM)) group. These services also include the managed strategic Radio and Antenna Systems, Satellite Communications Systems, Remote Sensing Satellite Systems, Secured Video Teleconferencing Systems, the Canadian Defence Red Switched Network (CDRSN), the Deployed Operations Gateway, Domestic and Deployed Cabling Systems.

• Bidders must submit a bid for all resource categories.

• The work is currently not being performed by a contracted resource.
