Scope of Work: The current location of the two chalets will be changed in order to improve our overall installation procedures at this location The following project is to supply & install four more screw piles. See attached dwg for the new proposed locations and the sizes required to install the 4 new Helical pile units. The contractor is fully responsible to ensure the system on the chalets and the canal are configured correctly. These Helical Piles are to be installed in accordance with the requirements of the OBC 2006, CCMC Evaluation Report # 13059-R. Helical Pile each structure shall beType P5 HD- 5 9/16 in. shaft diameter with a specific Helix Pattern and must be load tested with the following bearing capacity: P5HD = 325 kN (ULS) each. Each helical pile carries a minimum safety factor of 2 which must be confirmed that the existing soil conditions such that it can sustain the projected Design Loads. This too shall be the contractor’s responsibility.

Schedule: The canal water level drops Oct 12th work must be completed no later than Oct 27th
