Description of Work: Construction contract for the demolition and reconstruction of the Horseshoe Lake Dam, located in Minden Hills, Ontario
Work of this Contract is comprised of the demolition and reconstruction of the Horseshoe Lake Dam, located in Minden Hills, Ontario on the Gull River. The work covered under this project includes demolition, removal and replacement of the existing Horseshoe Lake Dam, including the west access wingwall and stairs, the concrete deck, the concrete piers, embedded metals, the abutments and the partial demolition and removal of the sill in strict accordance with specifications and accompanying drawings.
The contract will include the construction of temporary cofferdams to enable dewatering of the site, as indicated on the drawings.

Closing Date and Time: Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at 1400 hrs (EST)
Mandatory Site Visit:
THERE WILL BE A MANDATORY SITE VISIT ON: October 17th, 2016 @ 1:00 PM.
It is mandatory that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for the site visit to be held at the Horseshoe Lake Dam located at 1902 Horseshoe Lake Rd., Minden Hills, ON K0M 2K0, near the intersection of Horseshoe Lake Rd and Bethel Rd.
Bidders will be requested to sign an attendance sheet. Bidders who do not attend or do not send a representative will not be given an alternative appointment and will be precluded from submitting a bid. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation.
Bidders that consider themselves qualified to provide this Work and intend to submit bids on this project should obtain documents from the Government Electronic Tendering Service through the Government of Canada tendering service at www.buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders . Addenda, when issued, will be available from the Government of Canada tendering service. Bidders that elect to base their bids on documents obtained from other sources do so at their own risk. Late submissions will not be considered.
Standard Terms and Conditions for this procurement are incorporated by reference into, and form part of the Tender and Contract Documents.
Delivery Date: The Work must be completed on or before August 15, 2017.
