    Nature of Requirements:

    The following is a summary of the statement of work for this requirement.

    The Correctional Service Canada has a requirement to provide x-ray technician services at Dorchester Penitentiary (Medium, Minimum and Shepody)

    Objectives: The Contractor shall provide bilingual X-ray services to inmates of the Correctional Service of Canada (CSC), in particular at Dorchester Penitentiary, medium and minimum sectors and Shepody Healing Centre.

    Deliverables:

    • Provide x-ray services by taking x-rays (digital) as per order of the institutional physician or Nurse Practitioner. This service is to be in accordance with generally accepted community standards and must follow any relevant Correctional Services of Canada policies, CDs, guidelines, standards and instructions,
    • The contractor shall have experience working with a digital x-ray machine
    • Process x-ray images to a CD (or suitable software saving device) which will be sent to the Moncton City Hospital for interpretation and ensure that they are suitable for diagnostic interpretation.
    • Maintain an x-ray register, reflecting the names and procedures of all x-rays taken of inmates
    • Advise the Chief of health Services of all aspects of x-ray services and make recommendations for ongoing maintenance and repair as well as the requirement for supplies
    • Conduct x-ray clinics every week up to a yearly maximum of fifty six (56) sessions (up to a maximum of 224 hours per year). Schedules shall be established in consultation with the Project Authority. A clinic session shall be on average 4 hours in duration and are to be conducted between the hours of 0800 and 1600 hrs.
    • Provide Monthly invoices with the dates and types of services rendered.

    Expected Delivery Date: April 1, 2017 to March 31, 2020.
