DELIVERABLES / SCOPE OF WORK

The work under this contract includes all the provisions necessary to remove and replace one concrete apron 7.5m by 17m. The work is to be undertaken at the Canadian Coast Guard Base in Parry Sound, ON. The current apron thickness is estimated to be 6” thick.

1. Work under this Contract includes but is not limited to the provision of all labour, materials, and equipment required to:
   1. Mobilize to site with a work barge of appropriate size and certification;
   2. Demolish and dispose of an existing lighthouse and foundation;
   3. Install one [1] reinforced concrete foundation;
2. The following work will be undertaken by others and is hereby excluded:
   1. Installation of a new lighthouse onto the above listed foundation.

SCHEDULE OF WORK

Work should begin during the winter as soon as possible and must be completed by March 31, 2017.

EXPECTED START AND COMPLETION DATES

The services of the Contractor will commence upon award of the contract. The expected completion date of this project is March 31^st, 2017.

QUESTION AND ANSWER PERIOD:

DFO will accept questions from Bidders until Thursday, February 9^th, 2017. These are to be sent directly and only to the contracting Officer listed below.
